What's inside?

Everything for both mirror caps. No re-orders needed.

• Premium foil (cast, 7-year warranty) — the same foil pros use. Pre-cut 30×100 cm, enough for both sides.
• DesignLine cutting line (5 m) — replaces the utility knife. No blade ever touches your paint.
• Lil Chizler squeegee + felt cover — for bubble-free application, even in tight edges.
• 4× IPA cleaning wipes (2 large, 2 small) — Isopropyl 70% reliably removes grease and wax.
• Slitter cutter — for the tension-frame slit through the release liner.
• Starter card with QR code — direct access to the video tutorial on carfoil.academy.

3. Wrap step by step — 12 clearly explained steps, ca. 40–60 min per side.
4. Done — you got it done and hopefully picked up a new craft along the way.

Compatibility

The kit is universal and fits all vehicles with painted mirror caps — regardless of brand or model. The foil is cut to size.

Note: the kit is designed for the outer mirror cap. The mirror glass is not removed — no disassembly needed.

Important: The foil only adheres to smooth, painted mirror caps — not to rough or unpainted plastic (e.g. textured mirror housings on some commercial vehicles).

FAQ

Do I need experience?
Not strictly. The kit is demanding (difficulty 4/5), but the video tutorial walks you through every step. Tip: do it in two pieces per side — much easier than in one go.

What if I make a mistake?
Within the first minutes the foil can be lifted and repositioned without issue. The DesignLine cutting line ensures no blade ever touches your paint. Worst case: peel off and start over — as long as you have enough foil left. Otherwise re-order foil in the shop.

How long does the foil last?
5–7 years with normal use and care. The manufacturer offers up to 7 years warranty.

Can I remove the foil later?
Yes. Heat the foil and pull slowly — residue-free. Original paint stays protected.

Do I need to remove the mirror?
No. You wrap directly on the mounted mirror. No disassembly.
